Quick E6600 temps question

I have been running my E6600 at 2.93 for a few weeks now, and stepped it upto 3.0Ghz tonight. Temps underload went by about 7/8 degrees using Speedfan.

This sound right? Gone back down to 2.93 for now...


2.93 idles at about 32deg, goes to 46 under nvidia stress test.

3.00 idled at about 36/38deg, went upto 55ish under same test.

Nope, but I think i've left them on auto... I don't claim to be an overclocking king or anything :D

Idles at about 1000, now that im back at 2.93 my pc sits at a nice 28degrees idle. Might just leave it, and stop being greedy!
