Hey guys,

I bought an item a while back but the seller quickly e-mailed me to apologise and told me it was out of stock and he would refund me.

This was refunded on the 25th August so a full week ago. When I log into my PayPal (how I originally paid) it says £17.99 was refunded on 25 August 2016 to PayPal balance.

PayPal has placed a temporary hold while we're reviewing it. We'll contact you shortly with further information.

Surely this shouldn't take over a week to go into my PayPal balance so it's available to withdraw?

Just found the below - what a load of ****. Their priority obviously isn't refunds.

Is your refund pending?

There are a few reasons why your refund might be pending, such as:

The refund was sent to an email address that isn't confirmed. A PayPal payment can't clear until the email address is confirmed on the recipient's PayPal account.

Banking delays are delaying the refund. Banking delays can sometimes delay refunds by up to 7 working days.
