Was just wondering how quickly you can change between eyefinity profiles, or if you can have them autoload when entering 3d?

If I ever get an eyefinity setup, I would like to have a "dual monitor" solution when in 2d, or in games that don't support eyefinity very well, so that I still have the 2 spare screens to have windows up.

I don't like the 3 screen stretched taskbar, so would like to have a single primary monitor with the other 2 as extended.

Hope someone has answers :D

Well all it does it combine all others resolutions which im sure you know so your taskbar will always be the full length, you will need to get programs such as multimon yourself to control this.

I'm not sure what you mean Eyefinity profiles? You can hotkey Eyefinity on/off. And if a game doesn't support it you can just select say 1680x1050 in the game and turn the other monitors off or run it in windowed mode.

Not sure why you'd need to really, havnt turned mine off since i got my 5870 on release.
cause I can't deal with a stretched taskbar, it just annoys me to no end.

and when in a game not running eyefinity, I would like to be able to have windows open on the other screens and be able to easily flick mouse over to them to check things :)

either way, on/off hotkey will solve this issue for me, when I get round to getting a DP monitor

Ah, well you can get programs to sort this out.
