Quick Facebook issue

I'm trying to block a particular person for a number of reasons but when I attempt to block him his name doesn't show up to allow the block? Anybody else experienced this?

Go to his profile. Over the cover photo there are Friends, Message and settings buttons (a cog).

Click settings -> Report/Block -> Block Joe Bloggs

Edit: <gdMode>If that doesn't work, reinstall Facebook</gdMode>

The other thing is if you unblock someone then block them again you can't block them for 42 hours which is a bit bizarre.

Not sure why you would unblock some unless it was an accident, but you'll have to re-add them again as well

They weren't a friend in the first place, just someone that stalked and sent dodgy messages. They had hilarious cringeworthy pictures so I unblocked them to pull the pictures off and use them for glorious karma, then blocked again (albeit 42 hours later).

I will have to try a reinstall then because the above is what I attempted to do.

Really? I assumed you'd gone into the Account Settings section of Facebook and tried to block him there, as you have to type the person's name this way.

Do you not get the Report/Block option?

Have you tried blocking him through Account Settings/Blocking/Block Users?
