just started dead money and went in with all my equipment, now it's all gone will this be waiting for me when i finish dead money or do i need to re access it inside dead money?

Good question - although I'm sure you've found out for yourself by now ;)

The thing that bothered me was that I finished the original Fallout NV content and then bought the DLC. Seems logical? Problem was that the autosave I had was the very final one, just as you entor the Roman nutter's camp after the dam. You can't map anywhere from there :(

The only manual save I'd made was ages back, before I'd murdered House and got myself that wonderful robot army.

Grr.

Also, I hate the whole boom-collar/speakers mechanic - especially the non-splodable speakers that you need to find a terminal for (or just run past and hope.)

Oh, and I'm a dirty rotten cheat. I play games like this purely for the story and the discoveries, so I have no time for messing around with sub-par weapons and constant dying. Debug megapistol ahoy - I believe it does 999+ damage ^__^

Cheat terminal extremely useful gadget, that ;)

Another quick F:NV question: why won't you ******* work?!?!?!? :p

Mines been pretty good as of late, put in around 50 hours in 2 weeks and had about 5 crashes,

finished all of the main quest and ready to do hoover dam, level 40 more stuff in my yard at novac than i can shake a stick at. just gonna float around the Mojave and discover all the locations i can find and weapons etc etc.until the next 2 dlc's appear. then when i've finished that it's time to start again and finish the legion, ncr and mr house endings.

stumbled upon a nice sniper rifle today called GOBI CAMPIGN SCOUT RIFLE it's worth trekking to find it one of my fave weapons at the minutes. You can find it at the snipers nest south of cotton wood cove

I had a pretty stable game of New Vegas too. Had about 90 mods going as well. (much more stable than fallout 3, which i had crashing every 5 minutes at one point)

The fan made quests for this game are avsolutely excellent. Much better than the official dlc (though i only played the first one). New Vegas Bounties and Dog City in particular are brilliant. Check them out if you are looking for more content jimmy;)

I will play again soon with the mod which allows you to switch between New Vegas and Fallout 3:D
If it works as it says it does withno errors and al quests working then it will be awesome:eek:
Also, projct Nevada massively improves the game.

To answer the question, you get the stuff back when you leave the bunker at the end. You don't pick it up, it is just added.back into your inventory.

And I got the scare of my life when I couldnt leave the bunker for about an hour without new vegas crashing.

Eventually made it out but thought I would lose everything there for a minute.

P:S don't use any console commands in new vegas otherwise you can't unlock the steam achievements. simply pressing the `¬(tidle key) by accident is enough to lock the achievements out. it's ok for some fun but don't save your game and make sure you exit the game fully via pause and then exit game, then when you reload your save you will be ok to carry on as normal ( hope that all makes sense)

^what he said.

I could have used the aforementioned cheat terminal to map somewhere else, but I would guess that doing it at that stage of the game would break stuff.

Finished Dead Money last night (meh) and have now started Hidden Hearts (meh, but in Grand Canyon.)
