Hey, I've just purchased a system off of overclockers, and have built it today.

All is well so far, I just need a little help with the fan layout.

I have the Antec SLK3800BUK Black Quiet Midi Tower Case; which has a 120mm fan at the back (it was preinstalled and is acting as an intake).

I also bought a Vantec SF12025L Stealth 120mm fan.

The way i installed it, it is also blowing air in.

So should I have the rear fan as an exhaust (as well as the psu) or leave it with both blowing in?

If i do change it is it just a case of unscrewing the fan and flipping it and refixing?

Cheers for any help, Rob.

Ideal thanks.

Wasn't sure due to the PSU having dual fans (you know the type, rear fan only comes on when required etc etc.

So will just the one 120mm fan blow in enough cool air? I dont think it shifts much air looking at the spec on overclockers but its nice and quiet.

One last thing, the rear fan has a switch with 3 speed settings, it was set at lowest. Do I leave it at that and the motherboard will self adjust speed as required? (think it can do that? Asus A8N-E). Or do i put it up to max which is going to be louder but cooler?

Cheers

Thanks a lot.

Was my first ever build today and it's up and running and installing windows at the moment. (not sure if thats such a good thing mind you ;)

Case didnt arrive so rang overclockers, they got hold of delivery company, turns out the driver "forgot" the 2nd package and had the delivery rearranged for 30 mins time, so no complaints there!

Only other thing is that there is a crack on the front panel of the case on the top corner, and the graphics card should have come with Tomb Raider legends, but it just came with starship troopers in the box, so guess i got sent one from before the new bundle.

I'll give them a ring tommorow but other than that It's been nothing nut fantastic service, very impressed. :)

Indeed, the depot is only 5-10 mins drive from my house but still it must have meant they left the depot specially to come to me or redirected from their delivery route.

(I got home 2 hours after they delivered the PC, so it's not like they were just down the road either.)

If the case was damaged in shipping do i still tell overclockers and they can claim off the shipping company or do i have to deal with citylink directly?

Do you think they will just resend a front panel as I really dont fancy reinstalling everything in a new case?

Cheers
