Hi guys, thinking about picking myself up either a Arc Midi or a Define R3, don't worry i know all about the pitfalls that some of the cases have, im getting from a local store, so if that arises i'll just take back and replace.

Anyways onto my question, reading the specs of both the cases where it states the fans rpm speeds, iv noticed that the 120mm on the R3 are rated at 1350rpm yet for the life of me i can't find those rated fans for sale anywhere.
Same goes for the Arcs 1000rpm ones, fastest iv seen was 800rpm being sold.

Iv even checked there website and the fastest 120mm they make is 1000rpm, and 800rpm for the 140mm, so is the product description incorrect??

Reason im asking is if i was to go for the R3 i would re-use my current 3 120mm fractals (1000rpm) along with the 2 that are supplied, i know a couple of 100rpm is'nt a big deal really, but it did make me wonder lol.

They put fans which can spin fast enough to actually move a moderate amount of air in their cases.

Speed = noise = airflow

They sell "quiet" ones individually. They don't sell the ones they put in the cases.

The blades on the fans are different too last I saw a picture of both.

Ah cheers for that, i'll just have to control the faster ones separately from the slower ones then, unless it makes no difference, not sure. Thanks for the fast reply though Hotwired, much appreciated.
