Hi folks,

I'm just about to pull the trigger on getting 2 OcUK 970s but before I do I was hoping someone that currently uses 970 sli is able to give me some feedback on performance when playing games like BF4 and Dragon Age Inquisition, hopefully at a resolution of 2560*1440.

I'd just like some sort of assurance I'm doing the best thing lol.

At 2560x1600 on a pair of 780's, (close to 970's) I'm averaging 120fps in bf4 on max settings with x4 msaa. Min of 68 in the last bench I ran. This is using DSR as my native res is 1920x1200.
 
SLI 970's at 2560x1080.

I mostly play World of Warcraft, but I can play it at maximum settings and it never drops below 40 FPS (worst case scenario). Always very fluid.
 
Iirc wow cam be quite cpu heavy so that might be the cause of those dips.

You'll have buckets of performance with 2 970s at 1440p.
 
Thank you folks, does anyone play Dragon age inquisition or shadows of mordor? How do they compare as they seem to be my main games at this moment in time.
