Quick Firefox question

After a recent format, Firefox hasn't been automatically logging into websites for me. When I type the first letter of my username, it remembers the username (and subsequently the password) and lets me log in, but if I navigate away and come back, Firefox forgets it again. The 'remember me' buttons on the sites are always checked.

I'm sure it's something daft, so put me out of my misery and tell me.

Hmm, they're not in the 'Exceptions' list, and the 'Remember passwords' box is indeed checked already.

Didn't work. Meh. It's not a massive problem anyway, just a little bit annoying.

Bit of a bump here, but I think I've discovered the cause of this problem: CCleaner was clearing the Firefox cookies, and with it was the login stuff. I can log into sites automatically as long as I've not used CCleaner since the last time I was on, so I'll go disable that option, and then all should be well.
