Quick football stadium question!

Hi!

Going to the Newcastle match tomorrow with me. Only been a few times before, so I'm not sure on a couple of things:

Can I take a backpack in with me?

Can I take a large SLR camera in with me?

I can't find anything on their website (it says the "Ground Rules" are "coming soon"!)

In my experience you should be fine, you may have your bag searched but cant see an issue with the camera
 
Don't know about other stadia but you can't take "professional" (i.e. SLRs) into White Hart Lane. Back-packs are fine though. It's the same at Wembley.
 
Backpacks are fine, they might have a look in, though. SLR's however at Fulham they don't allow 'zoom' lenses, but i've been fine with my D200/50mm. It's mostly health/safety and to stop claiming on damage to your own gear, so the steward said to me a while back.
