First of all is a Ford ka 2003 3dr standard 2003 a girls/grannys car is it that wrong if a 20 something guy drives it ?

Is 1700 GBP about right for a Ford ka 1.3 3dr with 80,000miles on the clock ?

Quick unrelated question to ask you guys didnt wanna start a new thread so.

How much would you expect to be looking at to buy a used 1999 vauxhall corsa 1.4 16v CDX with 50000miles in good condition for ? Does 1900GBP sound a bit high for a used car dealer ?

Yes and don't buy a corsa please, let some good come from this thread
I bought a 1998 fiesta with 52k miles 2 an a half years ago with full mot and tax for £1500 quid
thing is corsa are good until they put you in a ditch

the 1.4 is better than the 1.2 but I think the fiesta is still faster
either way it handles better an IMO feels less dated
IMO that cars worth 1200 considering I bought mine from a dealer and had warrenty

EDIT:wait is a CDX a diesel?

When you say put in a ditch is the handling that bad ?

Well, a Corsa isn't going to chuck you in a ditch. It'll just be total crap. CDX is a trim level.

I paid £900 for my 1998 1.4 Fiesta which also included a cambelt change, all the cars you seem to come up with are very expensive.
Where did you find yours ?

How much more are they expensive ?

What sort of used car prices should i be looking at for those cars Eliot ?

Does anyone know if the Ford Fiesta 1.25 zetec 1999 onwards have alloy wheels fitted as standard ?

Aint the Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec 1999 -2003 expensive insurance wise for young male drivers because of the alloys ?

Nope mine is 1500 first year 1100 the next and is now 800 and I just turned 20

I could insure a zetec s 1.6 now for 1350 a year I think
how old are you?
How long have you been driving?
23, 5 years no claims made

I don't think you actually said what you budget was? With your NCB it really is a waste of time messing about with something a 17 year old would buy. Just get a nice Focus Zetec 1.6, its a much better car than a Fiesta, let alone all the other horrible small cars.
2k to 3k budget
Just looking for something cheap and small as possible basically.
