Quick Forza Question

Hi,
My searching skills are rubbish so a little help is needed
DLC for Forza 2 - what happens if other people in the game don't have the cars/tracks?
Hopefully easy one for some of you - getting back into this now
They are basically invisible iirc, you will only appear as a faint outline of the car for other people. I might be wrong though.
EDIT: Talking about the cars obviously.
Most people who play online will normally have downloaded the 1 free car that's released with a car pack, this car, and the car pack are the same file size, because the free car contains all other car models from the paid DLC so you can see the ones that have been bought, there car pack only contains the code (on top of whats in the free one) to make the cars buyable/drivable/selectable
