Quick GBA Question

My lad has a GBA with Pokemon Emerald and the wireless adapter.

His friend has just got a GBA SP with the same game / adapter.

a) Are the compatible - ie can they play against each other?
b) Am I right in thinking that the SP is just a GBA in a new case?

Found that on the nintendo website, looks like you should be able to connect different versions

100% correct,

the sp is a remake of the advance.

Both should work fine against each other

May be able to talk him into getting the DS lite as opposed the the SP he wants then = new toy for me to play with!

again the ds lite is also compatible,

they can play gb advance games

But is the DS compatible with the GBA game link? I'm not sure it is.
