Quick GTR question

Both.

GTR 2 is better than GTR but, GTR itself is well worth the outlay.

GTR2 = GTR with polish.

Fwiw, I have GTR but never bothered with GTR2 despite being very impressed with the demo.
 
When GTR came out it was as buggy as hell but the recent patches sorted most issues. The game is good with superb cars, tracks and features but the handling is inconsistant. GTR2 is more of the same but does run better out the box. The problem i have with both games is the inconsistant handling, you set the car up and get into a groove lapping and it will just chuck you off the track for no reason, same set up same line same car same driver etc etc etc
I am known for my consistancy not my speed, i qually up front but am not the fastest dude, even i have problems with consistant hot laps on the GTR games.
