Hey all, I was looking at buying a 680 but given the GTX 670 Windforce is such a good price and when it's overclocked it matches/surpasses a reference GTX 680 I was wondering what average fps people manage to reach with an overclocked Windforce 670 with Ultra settings in BF3 and Crysis 2 at 1920x1080 please? :) I know benchmarks cover this but they dont usually mention what AA they are using and i'll probably only be using 2/4x AA maximum so i'm hoping that the average FPS in both of those games is about 60 as thats what i'll be aiming for, and i'll hopefully be overclocking the Windforce to the average which seems to be around 1250 on the core so if anyone can help before I buy, that would be hugely appreciated, thank you :)

Even if you don't get any overclocks on the 670, it's still only about 7% slower than a stock 680 and it's around £100 cheaper than a comparable model. Getting a 670 WF is most certainly the way to go ATM

I got this on the Operation Swordbreaker level @ 1080p Ultra

Afterburner settings.

I used Fraps benchmark function to get these results.

Yeh it does seem the way to go, I was going to wait for the KFA2 GTX 680 LTD OC edition but even with the voltage control I really cant see £150 worth of a performance gap being created, I think i'll go for the Windforce regardless, but I just want to make sure it will play the latest and greatest games at 60fps+ as i'd like it to last me for a year or two at least, but it sounds like it should be able to do that comfortably, but thank you for the help then guys, it's greatly appreciated :)

edit: ahhh thank you James, that is more than good enough thats for sure, it definitely seems the card to go with then :)

Oc'd to +130 on the core, +750 on the memory. Bf3 on the settings below at 1920x1200.
