quick GTX460 question

I have the Asus one (3 of em!) and they are very quiet until overvolted to get to 900MHz .. at stock volts they get to 820Mhz and still fairly quiet but not silent. The tenner saved will pay for a few beers..

Save the £10 and get the ASUS. The cooler is quiet and more than sufficient for even the highest overclocks. I owned two ASUS 460 (1GB versions) and they both overclocked monsterously and run cool, even at 950MHz with added volts. The Cyclones cooler may be even better, but it is not needed.

3 in tri SLI? thought they only supported SLI and no more.

I only suggested the msi as the cooler is slightly better. But for 10 pounds less the asus is fine. The cooling difference will be tiny between the two. Stick with your original order :)

my msi card is still on stock volts and it's stable at 850, with a load temp of about 58c in a room that is 20c ish. the fan is still quiet even when it's running at 58%. think it could easily hit 900 or more if i upped the volts.
