Quick hardline fittings question

Hi all,

I'm just about to embark on my first hardline build. Can I just check which fittings are the 'easy to measure' type, where the tube hits the bottom of the fitting without being pressed in, so it's easier to measure the length of tube required? I hope I've made that make sense! I think the Thermaltake 16 mm Pacific C-PRO fittings are that type, but are there others?

Thanks in advance!

All my hardline fittings have internal o rings which require the tubing to be pushed in. I didnt know other types existed tbh.

I've always measured the distance from the lip of the fitting to the internal base and accounted for that in my measurements.

there are only 2 types of connection i've seen/used..

Traditional O-Rings
Bitspower/EK/Corsair/Barrow/BarrowCH/Alphacool/Monsoon/Primochill

Bykski - Some of their hardline uses a suction cup type to compress the tube. I also have a feeling EK micro connects are the samew but not sure.

As Sin_chase mentioned, most fittings are around 3-5mm deep, and when doing hard-line it's best to measure the distance from one end to another, then add a few cm of tubing as excess in case you need it.. if not, just shave it down.

For what it's worth, I swapped to using only the triple O ring Barrow compression hardtube fittings a couple of years ago or so and swear by them. Unless you fit a tube in beyond badly, you can be pretty well guaranteed a bombproof seal.
