Quick Heatshrink question

if I am using 2.5mm Braiding will 3.2mm HS with a 3:1 shrink ratio be a bit too snug to get over the braid ? I am going to take a punt that you can stretch the shrink a bit to get it on but you would end up with carpal tunnel syndrome and need the patience of a saint ?

Also are there any advantages to getting the adhesive lined HS over the regular ?

the 3-1 is the maximum shrink you will get so a 3mm heatshrink will go down to 1mm maximum.

you control the amount of shrink with heat though.

Don't use adhesive lined as its a pain to get off if you make a mistake.

Does make it easier if its your first time though (less risk if braiding coming loose), just make-sure you do it right because as Clone says, its a PITA to get off!
