Need an alternative phrase to "in a fast paced environment". As I realise I've used the phrase twice in quick succession.

I've come up with "in an expeditious climate" but apparently it's not so good.

Expeditious climate just sounds like corporate jargon, which is the fashionable thing to utterly hate right now (and for good reason). Just keep it simple. If you find you're repeating phrases in quick succession, you have a slightly bigger problem than just finding the same thing in different wording. Try to rewrite it so you don't have to repeat yourself so soon.

Just dont use corporate talk. Sounds ridiculous if you say it too much and everyone with an ounce of noodle thinks that you have little of substance to say. I read a corporate jargon quiz on the BBC the other day and couldnt make heads or tails of hardly and of them. The phrases seemed to bear no resemblance to the actual meaning they were supposed to convey.

As others have said, just rewording a phrase doesn’t make it OK to use twice in quick succession. You need to rethink what it is you are trying to say. If it is the same environment and the second instance is close enough then you don’t need to say it is fast paced again, you can just say something like “in such an environment”. If you post the paragraph you have written then people will be able to give you more specific advice.
