Quick help: Install Duel Channel Memory

Hi all,

I am in the process of putting my system together tonight.

I have an Asus PB5 Delux mother board and 2gb Geil

The mboard has 4 dimm slots, I have read the manual and a little confused. So I need some clarification before powering it on:

In the manual, Slot 1 and 2 are Channel A, slot 2 and 3 are Channel B

Channel A = DIMM_A1 and DIMM_A2
Channel B = DIMM_B1 and DIMM_B2

To enable duel channel, I have stuck one stick (1gb) into slot 1 and slot 3. So DIMM_A1 and DIMM_B1, is this correct?

Put them in the same coloured slots. Thats why they are colour coded.

It will work in any slots, but dual channel runs faster.

It says DDR2 Dual Channel when it posts ( I think for that bios )
