ASUS P7H55-M series board. Can't find how to change the RAM timings anywhere - I assume it's a hidden option. I've tried F1, which has worked on boards in the past, but no joy. My timmings have defaulted to 9-9-9 instead of 7-7-7 and I wanna change it, darn it :)

Thanks

Gah, I meant ctrl-F1......yeah, I usually buy Gigabyte myself. Thanks though.

Anybody else?

Looking at the Manual it should be AI Tweaker > DRAM Timing Control,

Page 2-11 in the manual.

I don't have AI Tweaker in there - I was hoping that's what would appear when I found the magic button :(

Starting to think you just can't do it on this mobo......which would be daft as how are you supposed to correct the RAM timings

That was from the manual for your motherboard!!, very strange

What are the menu options in the BIOS, As this does all the voltage tweaks, Speedstep ect.

It doesn't appear in my manual actually - I saw the AI Tweaker thing while looking around on-line, but it doesn't mention it in the manual.

I can't see any advanced features like voltage - either CPU or RAM. Just the very basic stuff. I can only select my RAM speed - nothing else. Fortunately, I'm not planning on overclocking......but I would like to be able to get the RAM timings right :(

EDIT TO ADD: This is the LX version of the board, which I knew wouldn't come with any overclocking options as standard. However, my RAM (g.skill ripjaws) is supposed to be 7-7-7 as standard - so I guess you're up the creek if it doesn't recognize the default settings.

I would say, as it is a budget motherboard the ram is going to be fixed at basic settings.

As for the ram being rated at 7-7-7, i think this means it can run at these speeds once you set it in bios.
