OK, ignore, stupid me, there was a an 8 to pin converter on the cable at thye back of the case! don't panic!

Building rig right now, moving from ASUS P6x58D to Gigabyte Z77 UD5H.

My old board had an 8 pin AT Power supply socket with a blanking plate over 4 of the sockets. The Gigabyte board has no blanking plate, my cable is obviously a block of 4, for the 4 on the ASUS, but can i plug this into half of the Gigabyte one or do i need a plug with all 8 or 2 plugs of 4?

Urgent response appreciated

Ta Mark
