quick help with sony laptop memory

hi guys i have a sony vaio laptop with the following memory which i want to upgrade.Memory Installed
Slot1 : 512 Mb
Slot2 : Empty
Maximum Memory
2048 MB
Memory Type
SO-DIMM - 533Mhz (DDR2)

my question is which memory can i have 5300cs, or 4200cs??

any help much appreciated as dont want to get the wrong stuff

the stuff you've got at the moment is 4200, although the other stuff should be fine, it will just clock down to run at the motherboard's speed
