Problem

i took my Pc apart to fit a tuniq tower cooler and reasambled it, my problem is i cant get it to POST.

I know the CPU works in the MB, as it has been for the past 3 months. the only problem i get is the MB LED showing error code 8.7 which means a problem with the CPU voltage.

i have tried resetting the CMOS, short of puttign in a different CPU in the MB to set the CPU voltage, can you lot give me any ideas?

Did you remember to plug the 8 pin ATX 12v cable back in.

all power cables were plugged back in

Anything shorting? I would rebuild outside the case.

+1 on the shorting. Any pics of the board etc that might be able to help. Someone may spot something
