I want to have a server thats primary role is to store backups of my data,
What i want to happen is some sort of setting or program that will compare the two sets of data and only copy the modified or created files accross to the server.
how long would this process take, (2 80gb hard drives and 1 250gb external drive) over wireless as my main rig is connected via wireless and the server will be connected via eathernet.
what would be the best os for this, i have server 2000, windows 2000 pro, xp pro, server 2003 and vista available.
not to keen on linux.
If someone could just give me a basic how to on what the minimum spec needed for the server is, and also how to set it up.
