How much bandwidth would i need for a Vbulletin based forum with about 50 concurrent users and a membership of, say 500? SImilar graphical layout/overhead as OCUK....

What about space? How much would be needed?

And lastly - any good reccomendations?
 
I'm afraid it's a case of "how long is a piece of string". I would budget perhaps 10GB/month in data transfer and 500mb from the database but that's a very rough estimate based on sites/forums we host. In reality it depends on the frequency of posting, how active your 50 concurrent members are, how many guests you have browsing, how large your images are...

Presumably i could start smaller though, and build up? I'm thinking about gettingthose sorts of numbers in 6 months. Obviously the initial numbers will be very small.

I expect if i get a small package (stop sniggering) and call up the hosting company to upgarde they'll be more than happy to take my money, wheras the other way around wouldnt be as easy?
