Quick HTPC TV Card Question

You'll quickly find that you need two tuners :) (so you can record and watch another channel, or record two channels). But the Nova-T should be fine, i have two in my MCE box.

HDD space will also run out VERY quickly!
 
'The best part of 180Gb' is going to be used up very quickly. I have 750gb in my HTPC and I have to regularly copy stuff over to my 2TB server.

If you use a HTPC exactly like a VCR then 180gb will be OK but if start to use it as a video on demad system then you will be back for more HDD space.
 
I have 3x Seagate drives in my HTPC :) (250, 160, 160) and it's not that loud. It's actually in my bedroom, and i usually leave it on 24/7 and can easily sleep with it on (and i'm a VERY light sleeper).
