Quick Insurance Q

3rd party insurance means that if your are at fault in an Accident then your insurance will only sort out the 3rd party.

If you have fully comp then your car will be fixed as well,

So unless I have a nice car, no real point in getting fully comprehensive cover?

Also, if I had 3rd party, what would happen if I had undeclared things in (or on) my car, and I was in a crash (my fault or not)?

And just to clarify, if someone hits into me or something, they (their insurance comp) will pay to fix my car, yeh?

edit - also, is there a site that will tell you about any negative/positive things about your post code area, relating to car insurance (if that makes sense?)

If you can afford to loose the value of your car then go for it. Most people i know (under 19) all have TPFT inc me. My cars worth about £1000.

If you had undeclared things your insurance would be void, you may be taken to court in the event of a claim, its completely worthless.

If the other party is at fault then your car will be repaired on their insurance and you will not loose your NCB

There are many insurance threads on OCUK do a search.
