Quick iPad question

Hey all,

Quite simply, if someone *cough* Dad...were to bring me back an iPad from vegas (complete coincidence that he's there right now at the time of this posting) and it was a 3G one would I be able to put a UK sim in it and would it work?

Also would it activate through iTunes etc?

I'm sure the answer is yes, just want confirmation!

Yerp, after further research I found this out. Dad's now text me saying "We are fully iPaded up"
