quick iPad restore question

iPad 3 on 6.0 beta
im going to put 5.1.1 back on it via restore
if i back up then restore will all my layout / folders exist as they are now in 6.0 or will i have to rearrange them all again ?

wont let me use backup because its a backup from a newer ios than installed
