Hello, I just bought the 360 yesterday.. And this has probably been answerd before, but theres no search.

When buying a gold subscription. Is it locked to the console? I.E If I buy a 12 month subscription, will me and my dad, who both have seperate profiles, get LIVE? Or will just one of us get it?
Meaning you have to buy an additional subscription for the other profile.
Ive looked on google etc, but I couldn't find anything!

Live accounts are locked to a profile, not a console.

You can use your profile on any console and access XBL

Your XBL subscription is only for one profile, however for mosts game you can bring a guest on xbl with you. So for example playing GoW I sign in and my brother wants to play too. I would have Kronologic as my XBL id and my brother would be Kronologic(1) and in this case he could play online using his profile (god this is getting confusing) but it would appear as Kronologic(1). He would not be able to play on XBL without my profile also playing on XBL.

NFS: MW (as above)

Will post my Live gamer tag tomorow if anyones up for any of the games above :) (that is, if they all have live capability :D )

Seen the 12+1 month gold subscriptions getting flogged off for £13 too :D

Supposedly if you input a US address and zip code It will allow you to play ;) And I know a few guys over there who will happily let me use there address :)

I'll let you know later if it works :cool:

Then you might find that some UK region games won't work.
I'm not sure that it is worth saving £20 for.
