Hi all

At the moment have my rig set up as below. But when I drop the multi to 8x to increase the fsb to 450, it will not post but if I drop to 425 it will post.:(

Is this my memory holding it back or do I have to increase volts somewhere

At the moment I have increased mem volts by +.3v (2.1) and NB by .1v

If the memory is holding me back, is it time to change memory for something either faster or definetly more OC'ble:rolleyes:

Your help will be appreciated :D

You'll likely have to up the MCH and FSB voltages by more than 0.1v for a 450mhz FSB on the DS3P.

But have you loosened your timings to 5-5-5-15?

How did I guess that you will be able to answer my question :D Cob you are like a God  (ever knowing and ever seeing)

No I havent loosened my timings, and how much should I be looking at raising v by on MCH & FSB, I am still learning from guys like you ;)

Thanks

Loosen the timings first and see if that makes any difference. Also set the Performance Enhance option to Standard for the time being.

If that doesn't work then raise the FSB voltage by 0.1v, and test again. Then do the same with the MCH voltage if it still won't work. Repeat and rinse if necessary.

Right Cob, thanks to you it is now posting at 450, and I raised FSB & MCH by .05v as a precaution, with the slackened timings.:D

As always when Ocing do you think it is possible for me to run this ram at 1066 with the 2.4 multi:confused:
