Quick Memory question

I have this mobo:

And this RAM

I want to get another 2Gb but am concerned as when I tested the gap between the ram slots the two sticks heat skins touch.

Would this be acceptable or should I just sell the 2 x 1Gb sticks and buy 2 x 2Gb sticks?

dont know if i would want mine touching that would worry me. if it was me i would want 2x2gb. and i take it you not got 32bit xp.
