Quick MOT Turbo boost question

My 620Ti failed the MOT on a few points, all fixed now barring the emissions, apprently the carbon monoxide emissions are slightly high. I'm just wondering if turning the boost down (have a GBE valve set to 11PSI atm) will have any effect?.
It's in this afternoon, so i'm going to go and warm it up nciely (read give it a blast to clear the carp out of the engine).

You don't make boost at idle or fast idle, so no it won't make any difference at all

Any advice on minimising the carbon emissions?, it's had an engine service and i'll rag it a bit beforehand. Anything else?.

Just get the CAT hot and hope, or have my car which only needs a basic test

Hard to say for definite without seeing your other emissions figures but high CO would be consistant with running slightly too rich (high HC would support this further). Anything which would cause the engine to run a bit leaner at idle would help.
