Quick Motherboard driver question

I've just installed my new MSI Z170A Tomahawk motherboard and an i5 6600k.

Installing the motherboard drivers now from the site, and one of them is the "Intel Serial IO Drivers".

In this downloaded folder there are two further folders, "WIN81" and "WINT".

Each folder has the setup file to install.

Which one am I meant to use?

In the WINT folder there is one extra ReadMe document that isn't in the other, and says something about Skylake in it. Does that mean I'm meant to go with this one as my CPU is Skylake?

It would be helpful if you told us which version of Windows you are using.

WinT = Windows Ten

Ohh is that what WINT means? Grr why not put WIN10.

Yeah I'm running Windows 10. So I should go with WINT then right?

Post some feedback on the Tomahawk sometime if you don't mind. Seems to be getting good reviews.

Sure will do! Yeah almost every review I saw rated it super highly, and seems like it only recently came out based on the review dates?

Yes it's recent. And there's tough competition at that price-point, so possibly the recent boards are likely to pack more features in to attract buyers, than the original boards did.

Ah I see. Well so far so good in terms of first boot and installing windows etc. Will see how it fares after a bit of use

In terms of the correct driver? Yes, as above, WINT was the correct folder as it stood for Windows 10, which is my current OS.
