quick n00b ps3 question..

Howdy

Does the sixaxis charge when plugged into the USB cable whilst the console is on standby and not actually running? Just wondering, as the cable isn't actually very long so I'm unlikely to be able to play anything whilst the pad is charging!

nope but my sky+HD box next to it charges it nicely

that's annoying the only thing my sky box charges is my phone, it wont charge any ps3 stuff or my ipod, bah!

cheers dude, my VM V+HD box now chargers my ps3 controllers

, the charging bay has 2 extra usb slots on it but they dont seem to work too well so id rarther just have the original 2 free.

now if only i could fit the PSeye, singstar mics, ea active 2 dongle and TB PX21's in at the same time (i still miss my launch day 60gb :mad:

)

i just got a usb extention cable and joined it up for sitting back and chillin playin some gt5 or black ops

ive thought of a hub but i think they look out of place sitting next to the console (also though about the clip on ones but decided not to bother)and to be honest its not too much of a problem as i never need more then 2 things in at once and now i have the controller charger sorted im ok.
