Quick network Q.

I have a wireless router downstairs with my pc connected to it wirelessly from my bedroom. I'm thinking of installing a further 3 or more machines in my room, is it possible to simply plug an ethernet switch into my wireless pc's spare network port and link the other computers through that? if not whats the cheapest way of doing it? speed is not a deciding factor btw.

Yeah but i think you'll have to keep the main PC on for the others to connect to the network.
