Hey guys,
Just a bit confused by gateways at the mo.
I have a superhub, which has an ethernet running upstairs to a second router.
The second router is configured on LAN, with a wireless AP matching the superhub downstairs.
Now, the 2nd router is setup to have a gateway IP of 192.168.0.10. But the PC wired to that router says its gateway is 192.168.0.1, (the superhubs ip) Since DHCP is disabled on the second router i assume its getting the IP addresses from the superhub.
Is this normal? Because i am trying to configure my xbox to use my router upstairs rather than using the one downstairs, but since they seem to have the same IP, i cannot distinguish the two.
Just wondering, Is this normal?
How can I make the Xbox use the router closest to it? i fear it is using the one downstairs, making the connections a bit tat.
Any help appreciated.
