I dont really mess about with overclocking and stuff, and ive never really had issues with memory until i got my ASUS M2nPVM-vm and geil DDR2 6400 memory.
Had all kinds of issues with unrarring and parring - large files,
Ive been told to slacken the timings on the memory, which is rated at
4-4-4-12 to be able to run it at 800mhz
what does it mean by slackening ?
currently i set it at
5-5-5-12 2T and its managed to repair an archive i couldnt before, just wondered if this was correct ?
cpu-z says its running at 368 Mhz and says its 5300 ?
