Quick noob question about case fans

I take it the fan side with the most air blowing from it is the side you have facing outwards at the back of you PC case?

yep use that as an exhaust fan. Try and make a tunnel affect - in at the front out at the back than all the air is moving in the right direction - cool fresh air in - hot used air out.

Most fans have an arrow that shows airflow direction.

I cannot see any arrows on this fan - I've heard that from a lot of people but this fan doesn't have anything like that on it.

if it doesnt have an arrow... the side with the supports on and the wires ciming out will be AIR OUT. the 'face' of the fan will be sucking air in

If i'm ever unsure, a little piece of paper either side of the fan when it's on soon tells me which way the air is flowing!!
