Quick Oakley Whisker question

Post pictures and people are more likely to have an opinion. Getting all black looks a bit silly to me, get the pewter.

For me its black iridium because i like the fact the irdium has metal oxided fused to the lens at the molecular level, Reduces glare, tunes transmission, and provides a mirror finish. Which i like :)

Gives you better protection, far from Polarized, However this is a matter of personal opinion. The Whisker are a Solid addition to the Wire lineup range. While they may be Oakley's "most flexible" ever, they're not the kind of spindly frame that you can wrap around your finger. Rather it's like having spring hinges, but not really. The lenses are a little bit larger than the A-wires so they might favor those with larger heads. Even though they're so thin, they feel durable and they're light enough that you could wear them all day.

I have iridium titanium ones, they are really good. Have a look at them at sunglass hut etc and then order online from bike shops. I got £100 of the price for mine. Good luck!

£165 isn't bad, might have to get myself a pair. Maybe a bit too like my A-Wires though... considering they'd be the same colour.

Pewter for me probably :)

p.s. op it's probably best if you host the images somewhere else rather than hotlink :)

Got 5 Pairs of oakleys, there not sunglasses, but there Mostly all pewter frames.

Looks more classy.

Ok here goes.

On the whole the Whicker frames are generally known for their comfortable fit which limits frame contact to the temples and the bridge of the nose (So Oakley say). The Whiskers are lightweight and flexible for an adaptable fit (So Oakley say). Personally i think they are a little to light. Lots of owners of the Whisker from what i have read/seen complain about the fact that it does not cover their eyes completely. The Whisker only covers a portion of the eye. For example, the lens might only cover up the eyebrows. The eyebrows are really visible & light has enough room to get through. When you put up the frame to cover them up. it feels like you left the whole bottom portion exposed. Other than that it's a great looking frame either in Pewter or black (black is nicer ;) )
