Quick Oblivion Question

Got this yesterday, and it looks great on my rig, runs at 1440x900 too.

Ive picked up several weopons, a torch and stuff. How do i activate them to use them? So farmim using my bare fists!
 
Open up your inventory (press Tab, click your fist icon) and click the ones you want to equip. The background of that item in the list should change to show you have equipped it.
 
Hit TAB, brings up yer menu's.

Highlight the weapon you want to use and hold down the "1" key for say, your sword. Without releasing the "1" key, hit left mouse. This puts your bladed weapon in slot 1. During the game, press "1" and it will equip the weapon, then press "F" I believe is default, to draw your weapon.

You can do the same with the "2" key for your bow, and equip arrows in slot "3".

AH! i didnt know this, nice one, this should make life a bit easier excellent.
 
Slight adjustment to previous post.

When you go to your inventory, and hover your mouse pointer over the weapon you wish to choose, hold down any of the number keys and a circular diagram will appear to the right of the main inventory. Its numbered from 1,2,3 etc, clockwise. You have to move the mouse pointer over to whatever slot you want to equip the weapon in, whilst holding down the number key you want the slot to be used for, then click the left mouse button.

Just in case there was any confusion. Didn't mention the circular diagram in my first post. :cool:
 
It does make me wonder. I had a lot of these stupid questions too - because after all, no one reads the manuals initially. I couldn't find out how to drop things, or hotkey them.

So guess what, it was all in the manual. Damn sight quicker, it means I didn't have to quit/tab out of the game, write a message and wait for a response.

Or maybe its just my suspicous mind... :rolleyes:
