quick one on insurance?

is it possible to get a van insured for 2 days, i only ask because i want to buy a van but i have to go to england to get it. I want to take it back home to northern ireland on the ferry but i dont want to get caught without insurance, wouldnt even chance it to begin with.

Dont want to commit myself to anything before i find this out.
 
The customer and any other person who will drive must:

be resident in Great Britain, Northern Ireland or the Isle of Man.
be aged 21 or over (25 or over in respect of group 18 - 20 cars).
hold a current, valid, full UK driving licence and have done so for at least 12 months.
have no more than 8 penalty points in the last 3 years, and have no prosecution or police enquiry pending.
not have had more than 2 fault claims in any three year period.
not have been disqualified from driving in the past 3 years.
only use the car for social, domestic and pleasure purposes or business use by the policyholder excluding the carriage of passengers or goods for hire or reward.

I imagine you'll be able to use that :)
