Quick OS X Question...

Probably the first of many OS X n00b questions from me

Q: On my windows machines I have Desktop Earth but it's windows only so what's the best Mac alternative? (remembering that Desktop Earth is £0)

I've found DesktopEarthPro 2.01 (by SubRosaSoft) which is free; is it any good?

OSXplanet is a cocoa program that is based on the popular program, xplanet (by Hari Nair). It is able to generate live images of the earth as well as other planets in the solar system with additional informations such as the current clouds, storms, satellites, volcanos, earthquakes and times and locations of cities.

Not sure, I'd imagine it was often as they allow you to overlay cloud and weather patterns?
