Right I have just changed the cpu fsb to 220, so the original 2.4ghz cpu speed is now 2.6ghz, but I cant find the ram multiplier option anywhere in the bios (I have just oc'd my bros core2due on a ds4 and the option was in that bios but dosent appear to be in mine) So in cpu-z my ram is now running at 220mhz instead of 200mhz. How much do you think i can push this ram, idealy i would like the cpu at 2.8ghz, which would mean the ram would be at 233mhz. Is this ok? Do i need to adjust the timings of the ram? they are at default 2-3-3-5, Need to change any volts e.t.c.

Ok Specs: Asus A8N-Sli SE board, Amd 64 4000+, OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC3200 Dual Channel Platinum Series EL-DDR CAS2, Artic Cooling Freezer 64.

Also: Idle temps at stock 35, Idle temps at 2.6ghz = 41, Load temps at stock = 44, load temps at 2.6ghz = 51.

Cheers.

ah ok, guess ill have to find a source which tells me where the option is, although i have looked completely through the bios 3 times now :( what should i slacken the timings to? i have seen 5-5-5-15 pop up quite a few times, what exactly does this do? slow the ram down?

yer i meant what value, but nevermind i left it at 5, so 3-3-3-5, and the fsb on 233x12=2.8ghz, IT passed the cpu and ram test but randomly restarted twice whilst i was playing CS:S, so i have downed it to 2.7ghz and it seems stable.
