quick P3 question

does anybody what the max size hard drive you can use with a P3 machine is, or is there no limit? I seem to remember (faintly) that someone said a P3 could only handle 90 -100 GBytes in hard disk space or is this pas feux?

It depends on whether the motherboards IDE controller supports 24/48 bit LBA addressing. What motherboard are you using?

You could also just use a PCI IDE/SATA card anyway? Just a thought..

i havent got the box beside me, but i think it is using the intel 810 Chipset and is an intel motherboard. The machine contains all crappy OEM parts and a rubbish bios. I think my parents bought it from BC World, so...
