I bought Painkiller when it came out, but I’ve only just got round to attempting to play it online!
I know not many people play it these days, but I’m trying to hook up with a mate who also wants to get back into it.
I’m patched right up to date, 1.64 I think – It’s the latest file from FileFront anyway
But when trying to connect to various online games, I get a wide range of errors; ranging from ‘Invalid CD key’ to ‘NAT error’ to I need to update server software.’
There are server patches available on FileFront, but I didn’t think I’d need them if I was just trying to connect to someone else’s game?
Anyone know what I’m going on about
