Quick Partition Question

I'm looking to Dual Boot Vista and XP. My HD is already partitioned into a 30GB (for XP) and 268GB (for data). My data partition has 182GB free space on it. Can I partition that space again if there is data already on there or will I have to move all the data from the drive and then partition? Hope that makes sense, thanks

Using software such as Partition Magic or Acronis Disk Director you can take some of that free space and create a new partition, or move some of the free space around to other partitions

As always, just back up important data
