Ive sold an item to a chap on facebook on a model railway group. Ive bought and sold loads of stuff on this particular group.

He paid via paypal goods and services. Hes sent me a UK address for delivery but ive noticed his address on paypal is in france.

I'm guessing I wont be eligible for paypals protection againt a chargeback / non delivery claim

Something similar once happened to me. I asked for payment by BT instead. They obliged.

Might be worth explaining the situation and offering BT or friends and family payment?

as said, don't do it.
address needs to be confirmed for sellers protection. it would also show that on transaction page next to the address.

You received a payment of £107.98 GBP from [email protected]
