The raid information is stored on the drives with perc6 and not the controller right?
I only ask because im changing a bunch of disks in the server and im planning on removing the current ones and replacing with all new ones, if it buggers up I should in theory just be able to chuck the "old" disks back in and the perc will be able to rebuild the raid and thus not losing any data.
